In fact, it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world. This is the 23rd year there’s been a World Book Day, and on 5th March 2020, children of all ages came together to appreciate reading.
It’s World Book Day and we’re currently having a blast at Glowfield international School. Started out today with a book fair with pupils glancing through and generating individual book wish list in preparation for the grand finale tomorrow, Friday, 6th March, 2020. Our theme for this year’s World Book Day is “Share a Story”
Watch this space as you’re about to be thrilled with details on how we celebrated this crucial day.
When parents read to their children, the benefits are enormous. Top most is that it provides precious time of learning and bonding.
With the theme: Share a story, our noble parents proved beyond doubts that they are interested in enhancing the intellectual skills in their children.
They read and dramatized with great passion to the children. The memory lingers on…
It’s just another promise kept from all of us @glowfieldinternationalschool.
